Why Bees?

Bees carry on their tiny shoulders the task of healing the world.  They heal through their true activity which is a beautiful model for communal awareness; through their power to awaken us to our environmental situation; through metaphor as well as meditation experience; through direct transmission.   Externally they create the world; internally they are harbingers of the Truth of things.

The Bees integrate black depths and the golden nectar of love. The bees emanate from the radiant darkness and take up the true work of being in the world: creation of honey; the work of the hive.  The bees are not metaphor.  The healing of the Bees is the healing of each of our souls and the healing of the world.  There is not a separation: the moment and the whole are one.
